Sunset Ranch Hawaii is an elegant thirty acre estate on Oahu's North Shore with a mission of helping advance land conservation and sustainability in Hawaii.
What is something UNIQUE about your company?
Sunset Ranch is the most exclusive private estate on Hawaii available for private events - with ocean and mountain views of the entire North Shore of Oahu. Whether you book the site A La Carte or under an all-inclusive Package, the estate is exclusively yours for entire the day (9am to 9pm). We have six venues to choose from. You may use one or all six venues – again, the site is exclusively yours. We host no other events, and have no other activity on the day of your event. We also include two luxury guest suites in the main ranch house, along with several other amenities – all included in our site fee.
How did you get started in weddings and can you provide a little history about your company?
Sunset Ranch was originally acquired by an old Kama’aina family in 1960. The property subsequently changed hands several times and in 2005 the family was able to reacquire it. While their original intention was to subdivide the land into a 14 lot gated ranch community, they ultimately decided to protect the land instead. As a result, it is the only property in Hawaii that is forever protected with City, State and Federal grant funding. The family has since established the property as a model to advance land conservation and sustainability in Hawaii. Wedding events are one of their favorite ways to share Sunset Ranch with the community and all visitors to Hawaii. To date, Sunset Ranch has been host to over 500 events and is the venue of choice in Hawaii.
