How did you start your flower business?
By accident! I opened a gift shop, but then people started walking in asking for flowers. I had done one wedding for a friend and then more wedding inquiries started coming in. In 1994, after intense floral design training in LA, I returned to Hawaii to begin my business. Read more about Sue HERE.
How would you describe your company's style in three words?
Simple, contemporary and expressive.
What is one thing you really want brides to know about your company?
I don't like flowers to go to waste, so we encourage our brides and grooms to reuse their ceremony floral decor and incorporate them into the reception. We offer the service of transferring and re-setting your flowers to make your wedding day hassle free.
What do you enjoy doing when you aren't designing flowers for a wedding?
I love spending time with my husband, Chris and my three sons, Brandon, Jordan and Brycen. I also enjoy doing my research to find the next season's trends and hottest flowers!
A note from TWC... A BIG congratulations to Sue for becoming a Certified Floral Designer by the American Institute of Floral Designers in September 2013! Such a huge deal!
