What sets you apart from other photographers?

My goal is to capture the wonder and emotion of a wedding, while creating a fun and relaxed environment for my couples. I really try to get to know my clients so that the wedding day feels like I am part of their group of friends. I am constantly trying to make my clients laugh and feel comfortable. I always tell them, “When in doubt– just make out!”

How did you get started in weddings and can you provide a little history about your company?

I was first introduced to photography in middle school, where I fell in love with the darkroom. My passion for photography led me to the Art Institute of Seattle and eventually Montana State University, where I graduated with a Bachelors of Fine Art in Photography. I moved to Hawaii in 2004 and worked with a group of amazing photographers. I started my company in 2006 and have never looked back!

What is one tip you would like to share with brides and grooms?

Do a day after session with your photographer. It gives you a great opportunity to take pictures that you can’t get on the wedding day due to time or location constraints.

Name one thing you want couples to know about you?

I think I'm one the funniest people I know! Seriously though, humor is a big part of my personality. I love to laugh, and find that humor builds a great common ground with my couples.

Name three things that you love.
The word “Muffin”, the color mustard and anything salted caramel flavored.
