I absolutely love the little details. There’s so much of a couple’s personality that shines through at

their weddings whether it’s through their favors, the location of their venue, or their invitations.

It’s all about the details!

What is something UNIQUE about your company?

Hands down, my vintage presses and equipment. My presses are well over 100 years old and

(surprise!) they still run perfectly. If an apocalypse hit, I’d still be able to print invitations and

greeting cards because my studio’s equipment doesn’t need electricity to run (aside from needing

some light).

How did you get started in weddings and can you provide a little history about your

Prior to establishing my own print shop, I worked as a book designer, packaging specialist,

invitation designer, and a letterpress printer...all at the same time for four different small

businesses. I took what I learned from each job and incorporate it into each project I work on for

my clients.

My little letterpress shop is located at Lana Lane Studios in Kaka’ako and it houses my two

presses, Hugo and Frankie, and other various printing equipment. I specialize in both handset

and plated letterpress printing techniques and also hand-mix inks, cut paper, and handprint all

projects in-house.

What are your favorite wedding colors?

I love a classic black and gold wedding.
