Officiants

What is something UNIQUE about your company?

I perform special Hawaiian blessings approved by the Native Hawaiian community. I blow the pu (conch shell). I speak Native Hawaiian authentically (not just reading words). I am known for my diverse ceremonies which include a wide range of cultural sentiments such as cord/veil/coin ceremony, handfasting, sand ceremony, and non Hawaiian ceremonies.

How did you get started in ?weddings and can you provide a little history about your company?

I have worked in virtually every wedding vendor position except flowers and cakes. I have worked for a wedding photographer, I've worked as a DJ/emcee, makeup artist, wedding planner and now I have come full circle with what I love most as a marriage officiant/celebrant.

What is ONE thing you REALLY want brides and grooms to know about you?

I am respectful of everyone. No matter what suggestions I make, it is your wedding and I want to accommodate all of your wishes. I am the person who keeps you calm during the stressful times.

Family (Do you have any kids or pets):

Married to my husband, local boy and surfer fondly known as "Mr. Keen" I am the proud parent of a transgender child. I'm an empty nester and my current child at home is our dog Scooter.

Name three things that you LOVE.

I love aloha, making a difference and leading people through stress with ease.

What is one tip you would like to share with brides and grooms?

No matter what suggestions your loved ones and vendors make, always remember it's your wedding. I will be here to help you live in the moment of your ceremony.
